CITY POSTER

During the InDesign Class, students were asked to create a poster for a city or a country that follows some basic rules of composition. I choose to apply the Fibonacci sequence in my composition. I wanted to keep the essence of Lyon through a flat design depicting its main attractions (Notre Dame de Fourvière Basilica, National Opera & the Tramway). Vibrant colors are here to provide a summer ambiance.

JAZZ FESTIVAL POSTER

I designed a poster for the International Jazz Festival of Montreal in the Photoshop class. I integrated dynamic forms and colors into the composition to reflect the festivity of this event that takes place in summer. Techniques such as blending colors and selection tool options were used in the creation.

MOVIE POSTER

This is a movie poster project I did for the Graphic Concept class. Vector rendered images, usage of pen tool & typography were key components of this work. I really liked the paper background technique learned in class. I found it made a huge difference in the final design. Overall it was very joyful to create variations for the poster, they really gave different atmospheres to the scene.
