VECTOR ANIMALS ILLUSTRATIONS
Students were asked to create a vector animal using basic shapes in the style of artist Charley Harper for the Illustrator class. After researching insect realistic pictures, I got inspired and decided to go with the praying mantis, the rhinoceros beetle & the scolopendra. I found these animals very gracious when they pose against their opponents. I applied a grain texture to the design to give a paper effect to the composition.

TYPEFACE ILLUSTRATIONS
This is a type tool project I did for the Illustrator class. We had to create faces using only typographic characters (letters, numbers, punctuation, glyphs). We could not use shapes or the pen tool. This was a great challenge to draw with serif and sans serif fonts. I have also enjoyed using Arabic writing to vary my style of illustration.
