BANANA BREAKFAST
Banana breakfast is an imaginary restaurant concept. It is located in Montréal, in the Mile-end neighborhood. This breakfast place offers unique fusion cuisine with Japanese and North-American influences. It serves various dishes such as American pancakes, authentical Japanese Omelet Omurices, Asian bubble waffles, and its specialty the banana cake. The restaurant has an urban and retro aesthetic.

The brand identity mostly relies on its mascot logo: a ‘humanized’ banana that takes some influence from American vintage cartoon characters in the 50s. The mascot also takes some Japanese kawaii traits (adorable in Japanese). I wanted to create a ‘pop’ character that is hybrid and represents the great cultural diversity of Montréal.
